ABOUT US 

Jagacha Yuba Shakti (Jagacha Youth Empowerment Foundation) is an NGO which was established in 2011. Our organization always had and will be having focused on various types of work, which is not just limited to expeditions. River to sea kayak expedition was first developed to travel from Kolkata to Balasore and its motto was to minimize river pollution. Not to mention, this was the first time in India. Our organization has organized India's first empty plastic bottle boat expedition from Mayapur to Kolkata in 2015. The motto of this expedition was to reduce reuse and recycle (3 R's). Then again this organization organized an empty plastic bottle kayak boat expedition from New Digha to Kolkata in 2016. Also, proudly this organization organized the world's first Hogla leaf boat expedition from Hazarduari in Murshidabad to Kolkata in the year 2017. And again the organization blossomed as the world's first creator of the Jute stick boat expedition, from Haldia to Kolkata in 2018. Now, our organization is focusing on global warming and water pollution. We have planted trees in various places and cleaned plastics from beaches.
